TRX Basics
What is it?
The TRX System, also known as Total Resistance Exercises, refers to a specialized form of suspension training that utilizes equipment developed by former U.S. Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick. TRX uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.
What to expect:
This is a 45 minute class, designed to introduce you to TRX. We'll go over the basic moves slowly, explain proper form, & modify to your ability.
What to wear/bring to class:
Wear workout clothes & workout shoes, and bring water.
What fitness level?
Any.
Best for beginners, but able to be modified to a more intense fitness level.

PiYo
What is it?
PiYo combines the strength training—and body lengthening—aspects of Pilates with the core training and stretching elements of yoga to create an entirely new workout experience. It's low impact and adaptable to all ages and fitness levels. Unlike traditional Pilates and yoga sessions, PiYo is set up like a cardio class, designed to burn calories and make you sweat.
You don't need a background in yoga or Pilates to try PiYo, but some of the same simple poses like Downward Dog and Warrior are used.
What to expect:
This is a 60-min, total body workout using body weight. A combo of cardio, strength, & flexibility.
What to wear/bring to class:
You can do this workout barefoot or with shoes if you prefer.
Wear workout clothes & bring water.
We have some yoga mats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one.
What fitness level?
Most.
As always, we can accommodate for all fitness levels, however, this class does have quite a bit of up & down from standing to planking. If you have trouble getting up and down on the floor, this may not be the best option for you.

Hip Hop
What is it?
Dance cardio choreographed to energetic hip hop music. Because you'll learn one dance during the entire 60-min class, you'll be able to easily follow along. No dance experience required.
What to expect:
Expect this class to fly by in this is a 60-min cardio dance class! We'll get to the end & perform the routine we learned during the last 45 minutes. Lots of energy and so much fun!
What to wear/bring to class:
Wear workout clothes & workout shoes, bring water.
What level?
Any.
Just be sure you're able to be on your feet and your body moving for 50 minutes.

TRX Boot Camp
What is it?
TRX Boot Camp is both cardio and strength training. We use a combo of the TRX bands, body weight, and other equipment for the exercises. Sometimes we do partner workouts, sometimes we do stations, it's always a surprise in the best way!
What to expect:
45 minutes of booty-kicking exercises.
What to wear/bring to class:
Wear workout clothes & workout shoes, bring water.
What level?
Any.
We can modify exercises for any fitness level, whether you need an option to accommodate for an injury, or an option to kick up the intensity!

Pop Pilates
What is it?
Pop Pilates takes classical Pilates to the next level by challenging students to rhythmically flow from one exercise to the next, developing a rock-solid core and leaving no muscle untouched. It is a mat-based fusion of ab-chiseling and total body defining moves choreographed to your favorite Top 40 hits.
What to expect:
45 minutes of bodyweight exercises. It's a combo of booty work, core, and a little cardio.
What to wear/bring to class:
You can do this workout barefoot or with shoes if you prefer.
Wear workout clothes & bring water.
We have some yoga mats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one.
What fitness level?
Any.

TRX Suspension
What is it?

45 minutes on the TRX band. Not usually much cardio at all.
What to wear/bring to class:
Wear workout clothes & workout shoes, bring water.
What level?
Any.
We can modify exercises for any fitness level, whether you need an option to accommodate for an injury, or an option to kick up the intensity!

Turbo Kick / Spiked! Cardio Kickboxing
What is it?
Turbo Kick and SPIKED! are very similar. They are cardio kickboxing classes that incorporate intense athletic drills between your punches and kicks to give your workout a boost like no other!
Turbo Kick is a well-polished combination of total-body cardio, HIIT training, and strength and core exercises. Your whole body will get a good cardio workout.
Class Components of Spiked!:

D: Dance Flair
What to expect in either class:
About 40-min of high-intensity cardio, followed by 20-min of cooldown, core work, & stretching.
What to wear/bring to class:
Wear workout clothes & workout shoes.
What fitness level?
Any.
All moves can be modified for low impact, but still a high-intensity workout (e.g. squats instead of jumps).

Restorative TRX
What is it?
This class is a perfect way to end your week of workouts, or a perfect place to start your TRX journey. In this yoga-like class, we'll use the TRX band for balance and for assisted stretching.
What to expect:
45-min flexibility & light strength training, using the TRX band & body weight. We limit this class to 7 people total, so each person has their own band throughout the entire class.
What to wear/bring to class:
You can do this workout barefoot or with shoes if you prefer.
Wear workout clothes & bring water.
We have some yoga mats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one.
What fitness level?
Any.
Perfect for beginners, but modifiable for all levels.

TRX Barre
What is it?
Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. This class typically uses a ballet barre, but we kick it up a notch by using a TRX band to keep you using your core for stability during the entire class!
What to expect:
60-min class using bodyweight, TRX bands, light dumbbells, a yoga mat & sometimes resistance bands.
We limit this class to 7 people total, so each person has their own band throughout the entire class.
What to wear/bring to class:
You can do this workout barefoot or with shoes if you prefer. Wear workout clothes & bring water.
What fitness level?
*While this class can be modified for all levels, we wouldn't recommend starting with this class if you're new to exercise.
